What To Expect

What to expect from your session

This is a 1-1 conversation about your dreams. You will have the opportunity to re-tell your dream and discover important insights through a process of creative brainstorming. Through questions, suggestions, and associations, we will tap into your intuition to shine a new light of awareness on your personal, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Sessions are available via Google Meet, telephone, or in-office (Cullowhee, NC).

How to prepare

Please prepare a written story or a voice recording of your dream. There is no “wrong way” to remember a dream. Fragments, such as a single word or an isolated scene, can be just as useful as long narratives. As a general guideline, your dream should be told in the present tense (“I am” instead of “I was”). If possible, attend your session in a comfortable, distraction-free space. Doodling or coloring is highly encouraged!

A note on safety & support

You will always be in charge of how deep the conversation goes or what aspects of your personal life are discussed. There may be times when a dream surprises you by bringing up big feelings or deep wounds. You can choose to share details or not. While your subconscious will never give you anything you cannot handle, some concerns may be better addressed in a therapeutic setting with a licensed counselor. Dream work can be a great companion for mental health treatment but cannot be a replacement for it.

This service is completely confidential. Your dreams or insights will never be recorded, shared or discussed without your permission. All personal and contact information will remain private. The only exception to this rule is if you share information regarding the abuse or neglect of a child, or if there is a risk of imminent danger to self or others, in which case the proper authorities will be provided with the necessary information to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
